Steve has studied in both England and Canada. His passion in secondary school and college in England was Mathematics. He started off studying Computer Science at the prestigious University of Kent in Canterbury, England. Then, he immigrated to Canada and started his 2nd year of studying at the elite University of Waterloo in Ontario. He graduated from there with an Honours Degree in Computer Science.

Steve has worked in the IT industry for over 25 years – and yes, he does look younger than he is! He has worked for some very well-known companies in Toronto and Vancouver, such as: Royal Bank, TD Canada Trust, Vancouver Stock Exchange, and University of British Columbia. Over the years, Steve has complemented his technical skills with professional courses on project management, time management, and business. He also likes to write. His first book was for a UK publisher, about an open source content management system, namely:

Steve has written, on occasion, for the University of British Columbia e-Strategy newsletter.

In the last 5 years, Steve has focused his attention on Internet Marketing. He helps organizations young and old to market their products and services online. He also manages several groups in Vancouver, including:

• Vancouver IT Professionals: A growing group of over 160 professionals working in the IT industry in the greater Vancouver area. The group meets once a month to network and share information about products and services in the IT field.
